Fatty Liver

Keep checking back, we will be adding new resources as we find them.

There is a lot of info in the resources below.  The bottom line is…there are MANY people with Fatty Livers.  It really is a big problem that doesn’t get a lot of attention.  The best way to deal with or prevent fatty livers is to cut down or out:

  • sugar
  • eat healthy fats
  • fatty animal products
  • margarine
  • starches (like peas and potatoes)
  • white bread and maybe whole wheat too.
  • drinking.
  • quick weight loss diets

You should add in:

  • 30 minutes daily exercise.
  • healthy fats
  • lean meat
  • cruciferous vegetables
  • garlic and onion

If you have a fatty liver, it is good to lose weight if you are overweight, but keep it to 1 pound a week.  Sometimes having a fatty liver can make it harder to lose weight.  Keep at it.  We will be adding a sample meal plan soon.
