Many of us think of potions, makeup that covers, and creams when we think of skin care.  In reality, our skin is just like the rest of our body.  It responds well to lifestyle change.

 

Our Health Coach Community is here for you. I’ve found that often, by helping others, I help myself. It’s good to contribute and be needed in times like this.  We have a community of health practitioners with many specializations who are offering free help in our Healthy at Home Community with ongoing information to help build physical and mental health.  Join us there.
There are so many scientific solutions, that we forget that by adjusting what we ingest, how we look at the sun, and how we move our bodies, we can do more for our skin than any cream or potion. You can start anytime and benefit from the results.

 

It is amazing how close each of us is to true health and happiness.  All we have to do is to take the power one step at a time.  Make changes in your own life, and you’ll surely make a difference in the lives of others.

 

Each of us can spread health and happiness faster than a virus.

Lifestyle Changes

Make it happen

  • Drink plenty of water.  Shoot for 8 glasses minimum daily
  • Eat water rich foods like celery and cucumbers
  • Eat protein and vegetables
  • Cut out processed foods 
  • Reduce sugar
  • Humidity in the air is your friend
  • Establish good sleep habits and get plenty of sleep
  • Reduce and manage stress
  • Get some sun, wear a hat and uv protective clothing under prolonged UV rays
  • See your dermatologist regularly for cancer checks
  • Get plenty of daily exercise
  • Have fun and laugh
  • Breathe, find a breathing app and spend some time everyday doing mindful breath work
  • Use coconut oil after your shower for body moisturizer
  • Wash your face with a gentle cleanser
  • Find a facial moisturizer you love (try a product with vitamin B5)

The sooner you make the lifestyle changes to achieve healthy skin, the better.  Remember though, it’s never too late.  Start today.
