15 Tips to Fill Your Group


  1. Make sure you know your ideal client.  Have an idea where they are and aim all your conversation to them.
  2. Referral programs work!  Give your current customers or past participants incentive to invite others to your group.
  3. Be a coach, or hire a coach.  Set Goals and action steps. Set a specific #of people you’d like in your group and set action steps to get them.  Give yourself daily goals if you need to.
  4. Set a budget and advertise.
  5. Collaborate and network.  Get together with other people or companies who share your ideal client.  Refer to each other or work together in the group. Make your offer to their customers.  Make sure there’s something in it for your partner.
  6. Guest blog or interview for podcasts.
  7. No matter what you do, keep up with your list building system.
  8. Send out emails to everyone you know who would benefit.  Ask them to bring friends.
  9. Visit some of the corporations in your area – this can be offered for free and a GREAT foot in the door.
  10. Offer a free trial.
  11. Attend a trade show and offer your group there.
  12. Leave flyers at local businesses where your client frequents.
  13. Offer free in exchange for a review or case study.
  14. Include a contest and advertise the contest
  15. Have a prize for the person who brings in the most friends, neighbors, family.
